“Without his genius as Doctor no. 2, we wouldn\u2019t still be going!” <\/p>
Legends of classic Doctor Who<\/a> gathered to pay tribute to Patrick Troughton<\/a> as a plaque was unveiled in his honour at his former school.<\/p>\n The Doctor Who Appreciation Society, the show\u2019s longest-running fan club, collaborated with Mill Hill School in London to place the plaque at the school\u2019s Patrick Troughton Theatre.<\/p>\n Sylvester McCoy, who played the Seventh Doctor<\/a>, Sophie Aldred, who played Ace<\/a>, and Frazer Hines<\/a>, who played Jamie McCrimmon, were among those pictured in attendance to celebrate the actor, best known as the Second Doctor.<\/p>\n Carole Ann Ford<\/a> (Susan), actors Hugh Frasers and Michael Jayston, and director Graeme Harper were also among those attending, alongside Troughton\u2019s children Joanna and Michael.<\/p>\n Respect pic.twitter.com\/DQo54h1P1u<\/a><\/p>\u2014 Sylvester McCoy (@4SylvesterMcCoy) July 17, 2023<\/a><\/blockquote>
