The next instalment will be the most action-packed and complex yet, the actor promises. <\/p>
We still have nine months to wait till John Wick 4<\/a> hits cinemas, but actor Lance Reddick \u2013 who plays the Continental Hotel\u2019s icy cool concierge Charon \u2013 has promised it will be worth the wait.<\/p>\n Reddick will reprise his role as Charon in the upcoming sequel, having so far played a minor role in 2014\u2019s first John Wick movie before going on to play a more significant part in its two follow-ups.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a surprise,\u201d he told RadioTimes.com<\/a> of his evolving role in the hit franchise. \u201cI mean, I thought [the first film] was a cool little action movie that hardly anybody would see. And then it turned into a juggernaut.\u201d<\/p>\n Production began on John Wick 4 in June, with filming taking place in Berlin and Paris. Speaking to RadioTimes.com<\/strong> earlier this month to promote his new role as host of Sky HISTORY\u2019s Book of Secrets, Reddick confirmed he\u2019d be heading to set \u201cin about two weeks\u201d to shoot his scenes.<\/p> Teasing what to expect from the next film, he said: \u201cI mean, if you can actually believe\u2026 because each one seem to have more action than the last one, and the plot seems to get more complex. Well, that\u2019s true with this one, too.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s got a great cast. And, um, a couple of big surprises.
