The new film arrives in cinemas and on Apple TV+ on Friday 28th July. <\/p>

The headlines may be about Barbie<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0 Oppenheimer<\/a>, but those are not the only two films released this month \u2013 with comedy-drama The Beanie Bubble also launching in select cinemas and on Apple TV+ on 28th July.<\/p>\n

The film stars\u00a0Zach Galifianakis,\u00a0Elizabeth Banks\u00a0and Sarah Snook and tells the story of the meteoric rise in popularity of\u00a0Beanie Baby toys in the late \u201990s and early \u201900s.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the release, RadioTimes.com<\/a> can exclusively reveal a first-look clip from the film, which shows Geraldine Viswanathan\u2019s character Maya applying for a job.<\/p>

\u201cI\u2019m in school but the schedule is not a problem, I just need money,\u201d she explains to a secretary played by Tracey Bonner at the beginning of the clip, later explaining that if she keeps \u201cliving at home my soul will soon be fully crushed.\u201d<\/p>\n

The conversation is soon interrupted when Ty Warner \u2013 played by Galifianakis \u2013 enters the room clutching two soft cat toys and asks the secretary which colour she thinks is better.<\/p>\n

When she replies that she doesn\u2019t care, he instead asks Maya, and although she initially says that she\u2019s not really a cat person, Ty pushes her for an answer.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wouldn\u2019t go yellow at all, too mild,\u201d she says eventually. \u201cThese little punks want to be tiger-striped.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWouldn\u2019t stripes make them too convict-y?\u201d responds Ty, but Maya reassures him: \u201cCats are outlaws, convict-y is kinda their appeal.\u201d<\/p>\n
This observation appears to strike a chord with Ty, who triumphantly says \u201cYes!\u201d as the clip ends.<\/p>\n
