The much-anticipated trailer for The Wheel of Time season 2<\/a> is finally here \u2013 and is it a dramatic watch.<\/p>\n

A new season of the hit Prime Video<\/a> fantasy series sees Rosamund Pike<\/a> reprise her leading role as Moiraine Damodred \u2013 but things seem far from calm for herself and the other main characters, if the over two-minute-long trailer is anything to go by.<\/p>\n

The dramatic new teaser opens with Moiraine narrating: \u201cEveryone has a choice. And every choice has a consequence.\u201d<\/p>\n

She then adds, \u201cWe didn\u2019t defeat the Dark One, we set him free,\u201d as we see clips of the Dragon Reborn himself, Rand al\u2019Thor (Josha Stradowski), and Nynaeve al\u2019Meara (Zo\u00eb Robins) stating that \u201cno one should have that much power\u201d.<\/p>\n

But who exactly could they be talking about?<\/p>

The action-packed trailer shows that the series<\/a>\u2018 beloved characters will be facing the deadly threat of the growing Darkness, but also gives us a glimpse at some of the book characters that are making their way into the hit television series for the first time \u2013 like Elayne Trakand, Aviendha and Lady Suroth.<\/p>\n

The visually stunning clip flies by in a flash, but eagle-eyed fans will be able to spot certain details, such as a blood-soaked figure rising from the ground, Perrin\u2019s (Marcus Rutherford) eyes turn golden yellow and a panicked Nynaeve covered in blood.<\/p>\n

But as the text in the trailer reads: \u201cTo seek the Light, you must brave the Dark.\u201d Watch the trailer below.<\/p>\n
