Last night\u2019s episode saw the argument between Molly Marsh<\/a> and Zachariah Noble<\/a> continue, as they failed to see each other\u2019s points of view over the kiss he had shared with Kady McDermott<\/a> during a challenge (which also upset Kady\u2019s partner, Ouzy See<\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n Mitchel Taylor<\/a> also had a lot of grovelling to do with his new partner Ella Barnes<\/a>, as she stuck by his ex Abi Moores<\/a> for the way they had both been treated.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Also, a shock appearance from host Maya Jama<\/a> meant that two couples waved goodbye to the villa and their chances of winning the \u00a350k prize pot!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n If you missed all the action, then don\u2019t worry \u2013 RadioTimes.com<\/a> has you covered with our handy video, above.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Read on to find out everything that happened in episode 44 of Love Island.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Keen to clear up the mess he had made in the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge, Zach pulled Kady for a chat. although he did it in a tone that both Sammy Root and Jess Harding<\/a> agreed was \u201cflirty\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n Asking the returning Islander what was said between her and his partner Molly, Kady told him that she was \u201cobviously upset\u201d and admitted that she had told Molly that she is still attracted to him, but that she \u201cfancies Ouzy more and is coupled up with Ouzy\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n Later in the Beach Hut, Kady didn\u2019t feel like she had gotten a straight conversation out of Zach, and said: \u201cI just feel frustrated when I speak with Zach, because I don\u2019t get the proper truth or facts from him. He doesn\u2019t tell me really how he\u2019s feeling or what he\u2019s thinking.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Zach then pulled Whitney Adebayo<\/a> for a chat to talk about the comment she had made about him seeing Molly as an \u201ceasier option\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Addressing the way he reacted after she made the comment, Whitney asked if he had calmed down, and told him she was angry \u201cbecause that was disrespectful and I don\u2019t like disrespect\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Whitney continued: \u201cDon\u2019t let a good one go, [Molly\u2019s] a good one. I feel like this is your chance to be the guy that is a bit emotional, that conveys his feelings in words, not actions. I know it\u2019s going to be a tough one.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Zach agreed, and said he wanted to tell Molly that \u201cin my head, it\u2019s like: \u2018Babe, I just want you.\u2019\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Also cleaning up his mess was Mitch, who had managed to get an apology out of Jess as his feelings were hurt when she pied him, who pulled Ella B for a chat.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Revealing that he\u2019d apologised to Abi, the gas engineer seemed to think that was enough to redeem himself \u2013 but he was sorely mistaken!<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m glad you\u2019ve apologised to her because the way you\u2019ve treated us both has really not been okay,\u201d Ella told him. \u201cAnd, if anything with this situation, it\u2019s brought me and Abi closer. The way you have dealt with us has not been okay.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Mitch tried to reassure her: \u201cI want to put my energy into you and make sure you\u2019re alright. I put my apologies there and welcoming there, and if you want to take it, take it,\u201d but Ella told him that he had just \u201cended up hurting two people\u201d by \u201ctelling them what they want to hear\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n As Mitch promised to \u201cgraft\u201d Ella B to win back her affections, Scott van-der-Sluis<\/a> and Abi got cosy on the terrace.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n As she branded Mitch \u201ca loser\u201d, Abi looked thrilled when the Welshman said he couldn\u2019t just have his first kiss with her in bed, and leaned in for a smooch.<\/span><\/p>\n And although Abi was on cloud nine after the romantic moment, bedtime saw the couples bickering when the lights went out.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In the dark, viewers saw Ouzy complain again to Kady regarding her comments about enjoying kissing Zach in bed when they were coupled up; Ella B telling Mitch that he maybe just wanted her now because he couldn\u2019t get Abi; and a usually very cuddly Zach and Molly sleeping at opposite sides of the bed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n When morning came, the feeling in the villa was very split. As Scott and Abi looked happy to have spent the night together, Ella B looked far from please \u2013 and while Mitch told the group that he was feeling good, the dancer revealed she was \u201cstill feeling a bit p***ed off, so Mitch needed to graft\u201d. Awkward!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Luckily, Sammy then got a text that broke the tension \u2013 as the Islanders were instructed to get ready to go to an exclusive party.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Pop star Rita Ora performed and took selfies with the contestants \u2013 even encouraging them to jump in the pool!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n But after the singer had left, the frosty atmosphere descended once more, and Molly set to work moaning about her ongoing situation with Zach to Abi and Ella Thomas<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAt the end of the day, yes it\u2019s a game and it was a bit of fun, but I actually feel so shit today in the sense that I don\u2019t know how to be, I don\u2019t know what to say or do,\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n While Abi assured Molly that her \u201cfeelings were valid\u201d, Zach spoke to Tyrique Hyde<\/a>, who backed him by saying \u201cchallenges are challenges\u201d while a crestfallen Zach explained that \u201cthere was no malicious intent\u201d and he \u201cdidn\u2019t handle the conversations well\u201d after the \u2018crime\u2019 had been committed.<\/span><\/p>\n Molly then pulled him and admitted she was \u201creally struggling\u201d before bursting into tears, saying the situation was worse because her partner had \u201ckissed the person who sent me home\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI want you to reassure me, to make me see that this can actually work,\u201d she told Zach. \u201cI can\u2019t even look at Kady because she just p***es me off\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Telling the actress that \u201cthere is nothing between [him] and Kady\u201d, Zach added: \u201cI want to fix this with you, but if you\u2019re having doubts about us after six weeks of how I\u2019ve acted with you, told you the way I feel, I don\u2019t know what you want me to say.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Still unsatisfied, Molly left the conversation with the words: \u201cI don\u2019t know how it\u2019s going to pan out,\u201d but could this be the end of the once happy couple?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Also airing their differences (again) were Mitch and Ella B.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI need to set the ground rules down now because that was not okay. On the outside. I would never ever speak to you again if you\u2019d done that,\u201d the fiery Kent-native told him. \u201cI\u2019m not a second option to anyone.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Saying he has now \u201cgot clarity\u201d over what he wants, Mitch complimented: \u201cThat\u2019s what I like about you, because you\u2019ve got a backbone.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n While still not totally happy, Ella said she didn\u2019t want to hold a grudge over her partner, and the pair made up with a kiss.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n But there was no time to relax, as at that moment, host Maya walked in \u2013 which could only spell trouble!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Lining up in their couples, Maya told them that the public had been voting for their favourite couple, which was revealed to be Whitney and Lochan Nowacki.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n While they were obviously over the moon with the result, their joy was short lived, as Maya continued that the three couples with least votes were vulnerable and at risk of being dumped from the Island \u2013 not even returning from the party to the villa.<\/span><\/p>\n They were friendship pairing Amber Wise<\/a> and Josh Brocklebank<\/a>, Kady and Ouzy \u2013 which left Molly with a barely disguised smirk on her face \u2013 and Ella B and Mitchel, which seemed to please Abi.<\/span><\/p>\n Waving goodbye, the safe Islanders headed back to the main villa; and after it was revealed they had received the fewest public votes, Amber and Josh were dumped immediately.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The drama wasn\u2019t over, though \u2013 as in a brutal twist, Whitney and Lochan then had to decide on another couple to say goodbye to!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Pleading their case, Kady told her friend: \u201cOur journey has started from getting in the main villa, and I think everyone in the villa can see that we do really like each other.\u201d Ouzy agreed, and continued: \u201cI think it\u2019s clear to see that we have built a strong connection and we\u2019ve started speaking about the future and outside life which is massive, and I think it just proves that the connection is real.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n When it was the turn of the other couple, Ella said: \u201cI\u2019ve always wanted Mitch from day dot. It did get a little bit messy but he\u2019s made his decision. It\u2019s just a shame that we haven\u2019t had the time everyone else has had,\u201d while Mitch added: \u201cI got clarity and I\u2019m happy with where things are going, for sure.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p> After having a chat \u2013 where Whitney branded having to make the decision as \u201cso savage\u201d \u2013 Lochan announced: \u201cWe had to look at the pros and cons of each couple, I think it\u2019s been particularly hard for me because there\u2019s one individual here who I started my journey with and I\u2019ll probably say is the closest boy I\u2019m with in the villa.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWith one couple in particular, we know first hand that it will work on the outside. We spend a lot of time with this couple and we know that they are extremely compatible and we can see there is a real connection there, so there\u2019s no doubt in our mind that it will work on the outside.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n He added: \u201cOn the other hand, we\u2019ve got another couple that an individual has recently made it very clear to the individual he\u2019s with that he is fully invested in her and that is something that also needs to be considered as well.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The pair ultimately chose to save a grateful Ella and Mitch, but Ouzy and Kady seemed relaxed about the situation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m glad that I\u2019m getting the chance to leave with her, rather than alone,\u201d said the Scottish footballer. \u201cI\u2019m really excited to go on some dates and meet Kady\u2019s mum maybe!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n In the teaser for tonight\u2019s episode, another row seems to be on the cards between Abi and Mitch \u2013 but we\u2019ll have to tune in later to see what happens!\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Love Island airs on <\/strong>ITV2 at 9pm.
