It is also the first time the women\u2019s tournament has joint hosts, while an expanded format means 32 teams are involved, as opposed to 24 in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Of course the Lionesses\u2019 will be hoping to go all the way in this year\u2019s tournament, after their triumph at the Euros in 2022. England will be riding that wave of positivity and support into the World Cup, but can expect some stiff competition from a number of teams, including favourites the USA.<\/p>\n<ul><li><strong>Watch every moment with our\u00a0<a href=\"\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/sport\/football\/football-live-on-tv-tonight\/&quot;\" target=\"&quot;_blank&quot;\" rel=\"&quot;noopener&quot; noopener noreferrer\">live football on TV<\/a>\u00a0guide<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sarina Wiegman\u2019s side will be hoping to overcome that and end their long wait for World Cup success, but can they do so?<\/p>\n<p>With the tournament running from Thursday 20th July until the final on Sunday 20th August, here\u2019s a run-down of all of England\u2019s fixtures, including when you can expect to see their next match.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>When do the Lionesses play next?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>England\u2019s next match in their 2023 Women\u2019s World Cup campaign will see them go up against Denmark on <strong>Friday 28th July <\/strong>at <strong>9:30am <\/strong><strong>UK time\u00a0<\/strong>(6:30pm local time).<\/p>\n<p>The venue will be Sydney Football Stadium, with a capacity of 42,500. The Lionesses will be expected to win Group D, but their match against Denmark is expected to be a more difficult match-up then their previous fixture against Haiti.<\/p>\n<p>While Haiti are ranked 53rd in the FIFA Rankings \u2013 the third-lowest ranked team in the tournament, Denmark are ranked 13th, making them a trickier opponent.<\/p> <h2>England\u2019s fixtures<\/h2>\n<p>The Lionesses have been drawn in Group D alongside Haiti, Denmark, and China. Their full group stage fixtures are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul><li><strong>England v Haiti<\/strong> \u2013 Saturday 22nd July at 10:30am, Lang Park in Brisbane<\/li>\n<li><strong>England v Denmark<\/strong> \u2013 Friday 28th July at 9:30am,\u00a0Sydney Football Stadium<\/li>\n<li><strong>England v China<\/strong> \u2013 Tuesday 1st August at 12pm, Hindmarsh Stadium in Adelaide<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>England will be the favourites to progress to the knock-out stages.
