Ralf Little has shot down rumours that his Death in Paradise<\/a> character DI Neville Parker will end up in jail again during the upcoming 13th season of the hit murder mystery programme.<\/p>\n

Some fans feared the worst when Little posted a behind-the-scenes clip on social media earlier this month in which he appeared to be in a prison cell, following his previous arrest in a season 12 two-parter.<\/p>\n

But the actor has now cleared up any doubts in a new Instagram video<\/a>, which he captioned: \u201cIt\u2019s time we addressed the jail cell rumors!\u201d<\/p>

\u201cSo I need to clear up a little Death in Paradise mystery,\u201d he began. \u201cAfter I posted a video the other day, there was a lot of speculation saying \u2018Why is Neville in a cell? Why? Could this be a spoiler?’\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cLet me explain, this is where the cast normally sits\u201d \u2013 before panning to an area that showed various cast and crew members and equipment.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe sit here between scenes,\u201d he went on. \u201cWe\u2019ve got fans to try and keep us cool and stop us sweating so make-up doesn\u2019t have a terrible time.\u201d<\/p>\n

He then walked through to the next room, which turned out to be the police station, before moving into the adjoining cells.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow a couple of years ago, I realised that in the cells, it\u2019s right next to the station where we actually shoot and it\u2019s much cooler, and there\u2019s a bed!<\/p>\n
\u201cHonestly it\u2019s a little bit\u2026 I don\u2019t know what lives in it, but when we shoot in the police station this is my little spot.\u201d<\/p>\n
Pointing out a collection of items he kept in the cell \u2013 including some empty crisp packets and a fan \u2013 he added: \u201cSo no mystery, no spoilers, I\u2019m just lazy and this is where I hang out in between takes!\u201d<\/p>
