A film delving into Sin\u00e9ad O’Connor\u2019s life and legacy is coming to our screens. <\/p>

A documentary about the late Irish singer <\/span>Sin\u00e9ad<\/span> O\u2019Connor is coming to the small screen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nothing Compares was released in cinemas last autumn and is set to be broadcast on TV later this month following the artist\u2019s death, aged 56.<\/span><\/p>\n

O\u2019Connor\u2019s passing was confirmed by her family on Wednesday (26th July) in a statement which read: \u201cIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sin\u00e9ad.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHer family and friends are devastated and have requested privacy at this very difficult time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Tributes for the late musician were quick to flood in on social media, with the likes of Russell Crowe, Sharon Horgan and Aisling Bea sharing their condolences.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kathryn Ferguson \u2013 the director of the documentary \u2013 also shared a tribute, saying she was \u201cdevastated\u201d by the news and describing the film as a \u201c<\/span>love letter to Sin\u00e9ad\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n
