A host of Chelsea legends, such as Joe Cole, Petr \u010cech, Michael Essien and Gianfranco Zola, will look to roll back the years at Stamford Bridge on Saturday 5th August as the West London stadium plays host to Game4Ukraine.<\/p>\n
They\u2019ll be joined by current Blues star Mykhailo Mudryk, as well as some of football\u2019s biggest names from the past few decades and a sprinkling of celebrities, including Ted Lasso\u2019s Toheeb Jimoh (Sam Obisanya) and Phil Dunster (Jamie Tartt), for a charity match in support of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy\u2019s UNITED24 initiative.<\/p>\n
The two teams, led by former Ukraine, AC Milan and Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko and Oleksandr Zinchenko, Ukraine\u2019s current captain and a key part of Mikel Arteta\u2019s Arsenal side, will play in the colours of the Ukrainian flag \u2013 blue and yellow \u2013 and raise funds to aid the rebuilding of the Mykhailo-Kotsiubynsky School in Chernihiv Oblast, which was destroyed in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.<\/p>\n
Team Shevchenko, managed by treble-winning Blues boss Emma Hayes, will be packed full of Chelsea stars of past and present, with a supporting cast that includes Clarence Seedorf, Fabio Cannavaro and celebs like Russell Howard.<\/p>\n
