After the Islanders had a night at The Grafties during Tuesday evening\u2019s show \u2013 where the public voted for the snakiest, flirtiest and most head to head moments of the series \u2013 they attempted to repair their relationships during last night\u2019s episode.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n And that wasn\u2019t all, as after the public had been voting for their least compatible couple, one pair was sent home at the end of the night.<\/span><\/p>\n If you missed all the drama, then don\u2019t worry \u2013 RadioTimes.com<\/a> has you covered with our handy recap video.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Read on to find out everything that happened in episode 52 of Love Island. <\/span><\/p>\n After the drama of The Grafties, Abi Moores<\/a> attempted to speak to her partner Scott van der Sluis<\/a> about the evening \u2013 but he awkwardly told her that he needed a second to chat to the other boys.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Telling Sammy Root<\/a> and Tyrique Hyde<\/a> that he was \u201creally p***ed off\u201d with how Mitchel Taylor<\/a> had behaved that night, Scott added that he was also \u201cstarting to find out why Abi was so p***ed off at the situation\u201d. Sammy then broached Tyrique, and said the way he spoke to Whitney Adebayo<\/a> \u2013 telling her to \u201cshut up\u201d \u2013 was bound to upset her, as \u201che wouldn\u2019t have liked it if someone had spoken to Ella [Thomas] <\/a>that way\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Elsewhere, Lochan Nowacki<\/a> was having the same conversation with Mitchel, and when discussing Ty he said: \u201cDon\u2019t tell my girl to shut up. You don\u2019t tell your own girl to shush. It\u2019s just disrespectful.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Things between the pair cooled down slightly after Tyrique pulled him for a chat. While Ty said he didn\u2019t agree with speaking to your partner about what the boys had said, he did add to Lochs: \u201cI shouldn\u2019t have spoken to [Whitney] like that. I would like to apologise for coming at Whitney in front of you, because that was disrespectful.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n However, Whitney wasn\u2019t going to be as easily swayed as her partner, and when Ty also tried to apologise to her, she said: \u201cWhat do you lot think this is, the Ty show? I literally can\u2019t stand the disrespect from men,\u201d and said she \u201cwould rather not [speak to him] now\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Mitch and Scott also tried to draw a line under their argument, after an exasperated Scott had lost his temper with the gas engineer during his vile acceptance speech after he made several digs at Abi.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cDon\u2019t call me a k***head in front of everyone,\u201d Mitch told him, before then attacking Scott\u2019s relationship with the Welsh footballer and adding: \u201cI don\u2019t respect how you\u2019re going about things with Abi. If you\u2019re not feeling it, cut it off.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Scott retorted: \u201cJust because I don\u2019t sell people the dream, tell them I\u2019m going to the Maldives and all that. I\u2019m not leading her on.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not going to apologise for calling you a k***head \u2013 at the time, I felt like you were being a k***head.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The evening ended with Whitney finally giving Tyrique the chance to say he was sorry.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ll be the first to apologise, I\u2019m in the wrong. I shouldn\u2019t have spoken to you like that,\u201d he told her.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n But while Whitney did accept his grovelling words, she still added: \u201cSometimes I do think: \u2018Is it disrespect, is it a blip or is it your character?\u2019 If you say you\u2019re my friend and vice versa, hold it in high regard in every single form.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n And the ill-feeling was far from over on her part, as later in bed, she told Lochs: \u201c[The talk] was good, but not like we\u2019re going to be best mates.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The next morning, the Scott and Abi situation was on everyone\u2019s minds again, as she told the girls she wanted to give their \u201cchaotic\u201d relationship a chance, while Scott revealed he needed to make a clear decision about his feelings today.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Of course, Mitch had to stick his two penn\u2019orth in, telling Sammy: \u201cAll I want Scott to do is be real. He is ***t when it comes to girls\u2019 feelings. Act your age and just be honest, because I\u2019m fed up of it now.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n An (unusually mature) Sammy warned him to be mindful of his partner Ella Barnes<\/a>\u2019 feelings, because it can come across that he still cares for Abi \u2013 to which Ella later confirmed in the Beach Hut when she said: \u201cI\u2019m kind of fed up of this Abi-Scott-Mitch situation. I feel like it\u2019s just dragging on too much now.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n After finally having a proper think about where his head was at, Scott had an honest chat with Abi.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t want you to ever hate me for leading you on or anything like that,\u201d he told her, referencing her feelings to Mitch. \u201cI need to commit one way or another, I can\u2019t leave it in limbo, we\u2019ve been letting this drag on for too long.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI feel like it would be better for us to be friends rather than commit the other way and I hope that\u2019s not\u2026,\u201d he trailed off, but Abi thankfully understood where he was coming from, and the pair decided to be a friendship couple while sharing a hug.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n While Scott told the others that he had ended it \u2013 to which they all agreed it would be a \u201cweight off his shoulders\u201d \u2013 Abi had a chat with Zachariah Noble<\/a> and Molly Marsh<\/a>, and asked them: \u201cI keep going for these men\u2026 do I repel people, am I that bad?\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n And later, while the girls were getting ready, she told Jess Harding<\/a><\/span>\u00a0that she wouldn\u2019t shed any tears about Scott \u2013 to which Jess replied: \u201cYou have the kindest heart of gold ever and anyone would be lucky to have you.\u201d Aww!<\/span><\/p>\n That evening, the pairs split off for a few chats \u2013 where Ella B told Mitch that she found his overly emotional reaction to the Scott and Abi chaos as \u201churtful\u201d \u2013 and then Abi got a text asking the Islanders to gather around the firepit.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The couples with the least amount of votes were at risk of being dumped from the villa \u2013 and they were revealed to be Ella B and Mitchel, Molly and Zachariah, and Abi and Scott.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n It was then up to the other contestants to decide which pair to send home, and after conferring, they decided the best choice would be the new friendship couple, Scott and Abi.\u00a0<\/span><\/p> \u201cI haven\u2019t made a romantic connection, but I\u2019ve defo found love in all you guys,\u201d Abi told them, before waving goodbye to the villa.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n As they reeled in the aftermath of the dumping, the couples again split off to discuss their nights \u2013 with Zach telling his partner: \u201cI\u2019m not here for people\u2019s votes, I\u2019m here to find what I\u2019ve found. I\u2019m happy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Ella B also assured Mitch: \u201cWe\u2019ll prove to everyone that we are compatible. We\u2019ve got all the time in the world.\u201d But she seemed shocked when he absentmindedly replied: \u201cI mean, we haven\u2019t,\u201d before quickly backtracking and adding: \u201cOn the outside we do.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n And although the girls seemed in high spirits after Molly got a text which said the couples would be going on their final dates \u2013 but would also then have to decide who the least compatible couple is \u2013 \u2018messy\u2019 Mitchel shockingly told Lochs in the bedroom: \u201cI feel like Ella B is fake. The way Ella B\u2019s been moving, I feel like she\u2019s more bothered to be here than she is with me.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n He added to Tyrique: \u201cIt\u2019s giving energy and it\u2019s giving too much false energy. I could be tripping, but I don\u2019t think it\u2019s as real as everyone else.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n So will the couple stay together?
