In the latest episode, Love Fool, fans were taken on another emotional journey \u2013 except this time it wasn\u2019t Tung\u2019s character narrating the action, but none other than Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno).<\/p>\n
There\u2019s clearly unfinished business between the pair, so it makes perfect sense that we\u2019re taken inside his mind to gain further understanding of their dynamic.<\/p>\n

<\/source><\/source><\/source><\/source><\/source><\/source><\/source><\/source><\/source><\/source><\/source><\/source><\/source><\/source><\/picture><\/div>Speaking about the opportunity to narrate the episode, Casalegno told EW<\/a> that the experience was \u201ca blast\u201d, adding: \u201cWhat\u2019s so cool about Belly and Lola\u2019s performance is the inner monologue. Everything that\u2019s in her head is on paper\u2026 [and] it helps with our jobs of how to get to those places. To be able to see what was intended behind Jeremiah\u2019s actions and mind and reactions and emotions was really cool because that\u2019s not a very common occurrence.<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like we\u2019ll probably never have another job in our lives that is going to be similar to that, where it basically tells us what we\u2019re thinking.\u201d<\/p> Casalegno said that narrating the episode was \u201ca good opportunity and a learning experience\u201d, but that recording was a \u201cdifferent story\u201d, revealing: \u201cIt was an interesting experience. As I\u2019m saying things and seeing things, I can remember what I was saying in my head with what was written on the paper.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was fun translating dialogue through my eyes with my voice from a studio booth hundreds of miles away. It was really weird.\u201d<\/p>\n Read more:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n As for whether Casalegno taking on the narrator role this season was always part of the plan, series showrunner and original book author Jenny Han said it was something she thought about when writing the novels: \u201cIt actually comes honestly from the books because the second book, It\u2019s Not Summer Without You, is told halfway from Jeremiah\u2019s perspective. So I always knew that I wanted to do an episode from his point of view.\u201d<\/p>\n Although the episode showcases Jeremiah\u2019s growth as a character, there\u2019s still a lot of questions that loom over his and Belly\u2019s future.<\/p>\n According to the synopsis for this season: \u201cBelly used to count down the days until she could return to Cousins Beach, but with Conrad and Jeremiah fighting over her heart and the return of Susannah\u2019s cancer, she\u2019s not sure summer will ever be the same. When an unexpected visitor threatens the future of Susannah\u2019s beloved house, Belly has to rally the gang to come together\u2014and to decide once and for all where her heart lies.\u201d<\/p>
