Creator Sam Levinson led the tributes to the Fezco actor. <\/p>
The cast of Euphoria have paid tribute to Angus Cloud after he tragically passed away aged 25.<\/p>\n
The actor \u2013 who played Fezco in the HBO drama \u2013 died at his family home on Monday 31st July, with the news confirmed in a statement by his family.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today,\u201d the statement read. \u201cAs an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.\u201d<\/p>\n
It continued: \u201cLast week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend.<\/p>\n
\u201cAngus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sam Levinson, Euphoria\u2019s creator, was one of the first to pay tribute to Cloud, writing in a statement, \u201cThere was no one quite like Angus,\u201d and adding that, \u201cHe was too special, too talented, and way too young to leave us so soon.\u201d<\/p>\n
He continued: \u201cHe also struggled, like many of us, with addiction and depression. I hope he knew how many hearts he touched. I loved him. I always will. Rest in peace and God bless his family.\u201d<\/p>\n
Many of the show\u2019s cast also shared their own tributes, including Maddie Perez star Alexa Demie, who posted a broken-heart emoji on her Instagram story, and Cal Jacobs actor Eric Dane, who wrote, \u201cHe was a one-off. I\u2019m truly sad.\u201d<\/p>\n
Javon \u2018Wanna\u2019 Walton who played Cloud\u2019s onscreen brother Ashtray posted a photo of the pair hugging alongside the caption \u201crest easy brother\u201d and another with the caption \u201cforever family\u201d.<\/p>\n
Colman Domingo shared a photo of several cast members posing for a photo taken by Cloud, writing, \u201cThat was his smile. That was him. May he rest sweetly in peace,\u201d while Storm Reid, who plays Gia Bennett, shared footage of Cloud playing Fezco and wrote, \u201cThe tears just won\u2019t stop.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kathrine Narducci, who played Fezco\u2019s grandmother for one episode in season two, wrote on Instagram: \u201cTo[o] young to[o] soon. Kind, one of a kind. Rest in peace. Big loss.\u201d<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the official Euphoria Twitter account also shared a statement, which read: \u201cWe are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud. He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and Euphoria family.<\/p>\n
