With so much coming at you in the opening of Baldur\u2019s Gate 3<\/a>, it\u2019s easy to become overwhelmed and find yourself scrambling to get off the ship as fast as possible.<\/p>\n But you need not rush as you can miss a couple of things that will really help your journey down the road, including a\u00a0powerful Baldur\u2019s Gate 3 sword.<\/p>\n Despite Lae\u2019zel barking at you to get to the bridge, you can actually meander around and stop to smell the cephalopod flowers of the Nautiloid and get to grips with the mechanics before venturing forth into the unknown.<\/p>\n There are a couple of other things worth doing as well and we\u2019ll cover those too, so you can start your journey to Baldur\u2019s Gate with your best foot forward \u2013 especially when you check out our guide to the best Baldur\u2019s Gate 3 builds<\/a>.<\/p>\n Read on and all shall be revealed to you, dear reader.<\/p>\n At the end of the prologue in the Nautiloid ship, you\u2019ll see Commander Zhalk and a Mindflayer duking it out and the astute among you will notice that the Commander is wielding a very fancy-looking sword, the Everburn Blade.<\/p>\n You only have a limited amount of turns before the ship crashes so you\u2019d be forgiven for wanting to just get to the other side of the room to the controls as soon as possible.<\/p>\n The best option though is to sneak one of your party members to the front and wait by the control panel while the others attack the Commander with the Mindflayer.<\/p>\n Once the Commander is dead, grab the Everburn and transfer it to your character\u2019s inventory if they aren\u2019t the one who picked it up and then trigger the teleport.<\/p>\n And hey presto!
