Halo Infinite is the sixth game in the Halo series, and we now know the exact date on which its \u2018Holiday 2021\u2019 release date will land. Fresh from Gamescom 2021<\/a>\u2018s Opening Night Live<\/a>, lots of new details about the game just dropped.<\/p>\n You\u2019ll be able to play the Halo Infinite game on Xbox One, PC or Xbox Series X<\/a>, and it will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch. And today we\u2019ve learned there will even be custom consoles and controllers to tie in with the game!<\/p>\n But when exactly does Halo Infinite come out, and what else do you need to know about it? Read on to find out all the essential details in our handy guide to the game!<\/p>\n The Halo Infinite release date has now been confirmed for 8th December 2021<\/strong>. You should be playing it in time for Christmas, then! So unless you\u2019re a gamer that solely sticks to PlayStation or Nintendo devices, you should have a way to play this exciting new game.<\/p>\n Most major retailers do not seem to have Halo Infinite product pages just yet, but it\u2019s worth remembering that the game will be launching day-one on Xbox Game Pass, so you won\u2019t need to pay full price for the game if you are a member of this subscription service. You may not be able to pre-order the game, then, but you could sign up for Xbox Game Pass and get yourself ready for launch that way.<\/p>\n The main selling point of the Xbox Games Showcase in July 2020 was the gameplay trailer for Halo Infinite. During the Gamescom 2021 schedule<\/a>, Microsoft managed to squeeze in this new Halo Infinite trailer\u2026<\/p>\n\n Back in Juen, the packed E3 2021 schedule<\/a> offered a brand new Halo Infinite trailer\u2026<\/p>\n\n A previous Halo Infinite trailer kicked off the Xbox Games Showcase around the launch time of the Xbox Series X<\/a> console. The gameplay demo is below.<\/p>\n\n The original trailer is also below, from E3 2019.<\/p>\n\n 343 Industries has said Halo has a long future ahead of it. \u00a0\u201cHalo Infinite is the start of our platform for the future,\u201d said Chris Lee from 343 told IGN<\/a>. \u201cWe want Infinite to grow over time, versus going to those numbered titles and having all that segmentation that we had before. It\u2019s really about creating Halo Infinite as the start of the next ten years for Halo and then building that as we go with our fans and community.\u201d<\/p>\n Future Master Chief stories will fall under the \u201cumbrella\u201d of Infinite still.
