Netflix\u2019s latest globe-trotting thriller, Heart of Stone,<\/a> is now available to stream now on Netflix,<\/a> and naturally many fans have been left wondering where the movie was filmed.<\/p>\n

The thriller stars Gal Gadot as intelligence agent Rachel Stone, who works for a covert global spy network and is tasked with preventing a mysterious hacker from getting hold of The Heart, a powerful artificial intelligence,<\/a> while the cast<\/a> is rounded out by\u00a0 Jamie Dornan<\/a> and Alia Bhatt.<\/p>\n

As Heart of Stone progresses, the characters move between London, the Italian Alps and various other stunning locations around the world, but did the film actually shoot in these areas?<\/p>\n

Where was Heart of Stone filmed?<\/strong><\/h2>\nFitting with its globe-trotting storyline and place within the spy genre, it\u2019s unsurprising that Heart of Stone<\/a> was filmed in various locations all across the world.<\/p>\n
The movie was largely captured at Shepperton Studios in Surrey, while the opening sequence was shot on location in the South Tyrol region of Italy, specifically at the Glacier Hotel Grawand in the Alpin Arena Senales ski resort. The location is the highest-elevation hotel in all of Europe, at 3,212 meters.<\/p>\n
Other sequences throughout the film were shot in London, where Rachel is living at the start of the film. This includes a scene set at the Royal Albert Hall, where the production filmed for real.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the team\u2019s mission towards the mid-point of the film\u2019s run-time was shot in Lisbon, Portugal. Director Tom Harper said of filming there: \u201c[We] got amazing access. I never thought that we\u2019d be able to speed cars through the central square, throw cars off steps and crash into things. But they were wonderfully accommodating.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a heritage city as well, so you have to really make sure that you are not damaging anything. I mean, we did damage things. We damaged cars and we broke a lot of cameras. But we left Lisbon in one piece.\u201d<\/p>\n
