Jurassic World Evolution 2 now has a confirmed release date of 9th November 2021<\/strong>. You should have plenty of time to pick up the game before Christmas, then, so you can spend all your time off work playing it. That\u2019s our plan, anyway.<\/p>\n Jurassic World Evolution 2 pre-orders should be opening any minute now \u2013 the game\u2019s official website now has a pre-order page<\/a> that links off to the Xbox<\/a>, PlayStation<\/a> and Steam<\/a> storefronts. Those links don\u2019t seem to have gone live yet, but surely it won\u2019t be long before they do.<\/p>\n Read more on upcoming games:<\/strong><\/p>\n The trailer for Jurassic World Evolution 2 confirms that it is launching on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X\/S and PC, with the PC release being handled by Steam and the Epic Games Store. There\u2019s no word on a Nintendo Switch version just yet, then, but it\u2019s worth remembering that the original game came to Switch around a year and a half on from its original launch. Perhaps the same will happen here.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n One person who\u2019s confirmed for the Jurassic World Evolution 2 voice cast is Jeff Goldblum, who lent his unmistakable vocal cords to the game\u2019s first trailer. He\u2019ll reprise the role of Dr Ian Malcolm once again, just like he did in the previous game and its DLC.<\/p>\n Bryce Dallas Howard will also lend her voice to the game, reprising her role as Claire Dearing from the Jurassic World movies. The graphics certainly seem to have gotten a bit of an uptick in quality since the first game, so we\u2019re confident that the final game will look great on a visual level \u2013 especially on the new consoles and high-end PCs!<\/p>\n An official blog post<\/a> about Jurassic World Evolution 2 sums up the game\u2019s main story like so: \u201cSet immediately after the Earth-shattering events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Campaign mode lets players immerse themselves in an original Jurassic World story as they lead efforts to control, conserve and contain dinosaurs alongside an iconic cast of characters\u201d.<\/p>\n Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom ended, rather memorably, with dinosaurs from Jurassic World being accidentally let loose on mainland America. Picking up where that film left off should present an interesting challenge for players in this game, and it will definitely mean that this game is quite different to its predecessor.<\/p> The aforementioned blog post teases that Jurassic World Evolution 2\u2019s gameplay will include \u201cexciting new features, four engaging game modes, and an enhanced and expanded roster of dinosaurs\u201d. The developers are promising \u201cmore than 75 prehistoric species\u201d, an impressive number that will include \u201call-new flying and marine reptiles, brought to life with captivating realism.\u201d<\/p>\n The game will also have \u201cdiverse new environments, from dense forests to scorched deserts\u201d.
