Sanditon fans will be sad to wave goodbye to the Jane Austen drama following its three-season run, but star Ben Lloyd-Hughes (Alexander Colbourne) has explained to RadioTimes.com<\/a> why it\u2019s no bad thing the show isn\u2019t returning for season 4<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cOne thing I\u2019ve learned in a not epically long career is never<\/span> say<\/span> never, but i<\/span>t certainly does feel like it\u2019s a great ending to a great three seasons that really puts a pin on a lot \u2013 if not all \u2013 of the storylines,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I know that no one wants it to be left on any cliff-hangers, so I think I\u2019d much rather finish it that way and put everything to bed.\u201d<\/p>\n Head writer Justin Young previously told Salon<\/a> that the team were \u201cdone\u201d after writing season 3, adding: \u201cAnd I\u2019m glad of that.\u201d<\/p>
