It\u2019s been announced that The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon<\/a> and The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live are set to resume production after AMC Networks has struck interim agreements with SAG-AFTRA.<\/p>\n According to Deadline<\/a>, the deals that have been struck are specific to these two shows and Anne Rice\u2019s Interview with the Vampire, which are three of the network\u2019s highest-profile series.<\/p>\n Daryl Dixon is the fifth spin-off in the The Walking Dead universe and is set to premiere this September.<\/p> The news was confirmed to Deadline and the agreements are specific to these three shows, not a blanket agreement between the company and the guild.<\/p>\n It\u2019s understood that The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will film its second season in Europe, while The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live still has work left to do in post-production \u2013 but will see Andrew Lincoln<\/a> and Danai Gurira<\/a> reprise their roles as Rick and Michonne.<\/p>\n AMC Networks CEO Kristin Dolan said earlier this month that the ongoing writers and actors strikes wouldn\u2019t begin to threaten the company\u2019s programming supply until \u201cwell into 2024\u201d.<\/p>\n She said on the company\u2019s second-quarter earnings call: \u201cWe greatly value the work of our creative partners and hope these disputes can be resolved as quickly and fairly as possible.<\/p>\n \u201cIn the short term, the reality for AMC Networks is that we have a pipeline of finished shows that will allow us to continue to serve our viewers across all of our platforms for the remainder of this year and well into 2024.\u201d<\/p>\n Read more:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The deal marks the most significant agreement to be made since the actors went on strike earlier this year, with a number of major film and TV productions shutting down for the foreseeable.<\/p>\n So far, the ongoing strikes have resulted in numerous international shoots pausing production including\u00a0Gladiator 2<\/a>, Ridley Scott\u2019s sequel to the 2000 historical epic starring Russell Crowe<\/a>.<\/p>\n Many productions across the film and TV industry are also already paused because of the ongoing WGA writers strike, which has delayed production on shows including Outlander season 8<\/a>, Stranger Things<\/a>\u00a0season 5 and\u00a0The Last of Us<\/a>\u00a0season 2.<\/p>\n But because of some actors working under Equity contracts \u2013 the UK union \u2013 rather than SAG-AFTRA ones, some productions are continuing on in their production plans, including HBO shows House of the Dragon<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Industry<\/a>.<\/p> ![\"Norman](\"https:\/\/images.immediate.co.uk\/production\/volatile\/sites\/3\/2022\/03\/TWD_1115_JD_0917_0398-RT-e6b8552-e1693573664374.jpg?quality=90&resize=609%2C406\" "\\"TWD_1115_JD_0917_0398-RT\\"\/")
