The Beyond Paradise star revealed a little of what we can expect in season 2. <\/p>

Beyond Paradise fans, it seems as though we\u2019ve got a season full of some juicy storylines to look forward to as filming for the second season continues to get under way.<\/p>\n

Series regular Dylan Llewellyn, who stars in Beyond Paradise<\/a> as PC Kelby Hartford, chatted exclusively to RadioTimes.com<\/a> at this year\u2019s N<\/a>ational Television Awards<\/a>.<\/p>\n

When asked about what fans can expect from season 2 of the Death in Paradise<\/a>\u00a0spin-off, Llewellyn said: \u201cI feel like the stakes are higher so I think that\u2019s always good. I think it\u2019s a bit more amped up this season.\u201d<\/p>\n

But just what could be explored in the new season?<\/p>\n

For now, specific series plot details remain under wraps but will of course continue following detective Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall) after his relocation from the Caribbean island of Saint Marie to Shipton Abbott, a fictional town in the South West of England.<\/p>\n

The show focuses on Humphrey\u2019s detective work as well as his personal life, which has seen him and his fianc\u00e9e Martha Lloyd (Sally Bretton) deal with heartbreaking fertility troubles<\/a>, which took a toll on both.<\/p>

The BBC has already teased that season 2 investigations will include \u201ca shocking crime on a steam train, an arson attack predicted by a medium and the baffling disappearance of the local fishing legend\u201d.<\/p>\n

On the announcement of season 2 filming, Marshall said: \u201cShipton Abbott is such a wonderful location to call home for a while and it\u2019s a delight to join up with my fellow police team for another batch of weird and wonderful cases, and to see what\u2019s in store for Humphrey and Martha in the next chapter of their lives.\u201d<\/p>\n
