Ncuti Gatwa may very well be bringing a co-star from Barbie to Doctor Who<\/a> as it\u2019s been reported that Ryan Gosling will feature in the series.<\/p>\n It\u2019s not known how the A-list actor would feature but The Sun<\/a> reports that he has been cast in what would be a \u201cmassive coup\u201d for the show.<\/p>\n The BBC declined to comment when contacted by RadioTimes.com.<\/a><\/p>\n Rumours of Gosling joining the cast have swirled for some time, with returning showrunner Russell T Davies<\/a> playing them down during an appearance on The One Show last year.<\/p>\n He told host Jermaine Jenas at the time: \u201cLet me tell you, Jermaine, you\u2019re a beautiful man, but if Ryan Gosling was in Doctor Who, I wouldn\u2019t be sitting here. I would be in Cardiff with my good mate Ryan, having a drink.\u201d<\/p> However, Gosling has made no secret of being a huge Doctor Who fan, well and truly breaking the internet when he donned a shirt with a fan<\/a>-made design<\/a> of Gatwa as the Doctor as news of his casting was first announced.<\/p>\n Gatwa later revealed that the pair had chatted about the show on the set of Barbie<\/a> (as you do) after he was confirmed as the new Doctor.<\/p>\n Could we see @RyanGosling<\/a> in #DoctorWho<\/a>?
