A new family has moved into Ramsay Street. <\/p>
The Neighbours<\/a> reboot is just around the corner, with the residents of Ramsay Street headed for more drama after last year\u2019s cancellation and subsequent renewal.<\/p>\n The soap has added a few new faces to its roster, with The OC<\/a>\u2018s Mischa Barton<\/a> confirmed, as well as a brand new family.<\/p>\n The Varga-Murphys will be moving in to the neighbourhood permanently after what was meant to be a holiday.<\/p>\n Sara West and Naomi Rukavina play couple Cara and Remi, while Riley Bryant and Marley Williams play their sons, JJ and Dex.<\/p> RadioTimes.com<\/a> sat with West and Rukavina to discuss their characters and how they settle into Erinsborough.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m a sparky, which is a tradie,\u201d West revealed of her character, Cara. \u201cSo all my costumes are super comfortable. Really warm, which is great for shooting in Melbourne.<\/p>\n \u201cCara\u2019s got a lot of love for her family. I think she can sometimes be a little bit quick to react to things, certainly at the beginning. But, yeah, Remi is good at kind of keeping the family on an even keel.\u201d<\/p>\n Rukavina\u2019s Remi is a doctor, and the actor went into detail about their family\u2019s dynamic, explaining: \u201cWe have 13 and 16-year-old sons, Dex and JJ.<\/p>\n \u201cI would say JJ, who is the older one, he\u2019s more of the boundary pusher, and Dex, our youngest son, he is very anxious to keep our family close-knit and together.\u201d<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n She added: \u201cWe\u2019re a really warm family. Cara and Remi are a really loving couple, they really deeply love each other, and their kids \u2013 but I would say that Cara and Remi are best friends.\u201d<\/p>\n A wholesome family, by the sounds of it, but one that seemingly won\u2019t be exempt of the soap\u2019s antics.<\/p>\n Though we don\u2019t know much about what awaits them on Ramsay Street, we do know that the biological father of one of their children could be a long-term resident, and that the Rodwells won\u2019t take to them too kindly\u2026<\/p>\n We\u2019ll have to tune in later this month to find out why.<\/p> \n
