The zany sci-fi series is back. <\/p>
Fresh off a live-action crossover in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds<\/a>, the crew of the USS Cerritos is back in their animated form for a chaotic new season of Lower Decks.<\/p>\n The animated comedy, which comes from former Rick & Morty<\/a> scribe Mike McMahan, follows Beckett Mariner (Tawny Newsome) and Brad Boimler (Jack Quaid) as they get into all manner of galactic hijinks.<\/p>\n Actors Newsome and Quaid were able to capture the chaotic energy of their voice roles in a memorable guest spot on Strange New Worlds season 2, with the show\u2019s regular cast<\/a> revealing there was a lot of improv going on<\/a>.<\/p>\n The crossover gave Lower Decks a more embedded position in the wider Star Trek canon<\/a>, meaning there should be plenty of interest in what season 4 has in store. Here\u2019s when you can expect episodes to drop:<\/p>\n Star Trek: Lower Decks episode 3 is available to stream on Paramount Plus from\u00a0Thursday <\/strong>14th September 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Episodes typically arrive on the platform at\u00a08am BST<\/strong>, which equates to midnight PT or 3am ET for our friends across the pond.<\/p> Star Trek: Lower Decks season 4 consists of 10 episodes in total<\/strong>, which is consistent with the preceding three runs.<\/p>\n Star Trek: Lower Decks will follow a weekly release schedule, which will see new episodes drop all the way through to early November.
