The actor says EastEnders and Corrie have nothing on Emmerdale. <\/p>
We can always count on Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> to sign up some of our fave soap stars each season, with this year\u2019s show featuring five current actors and previous stars from across EastEnders<\/a>, Coronation Street<\/a> and Emmerdale<\/a>.<\/p>\n But while EastEnders\u2019 Bob Brazier<\/a> is tipped to take home the Glitterball (something he doesn\u2019t agree with), former Emmerdale star Adam Thomas<\/a> thinks the other soap stars \u201chaven\u2019t got a chance\u201d.<\/p>\n Speaking to RadioTimes.com<\/a> and other press, Thomas \u2013 who left Emmerdale in 2018 after playing Adam Barton for nine years \u2013 revealed: \u201cEmmerdale always comes out on top!\u201d<\/p>\n We\u2019ll have to wait and see if Thomas is right once the show starts, but judging by him admitting that \u201cI can\u2019t dance\u201d, he might have to watch out for former EastEnders star Nigel Harman<\/a> \u2013 who revealed he has some dancing experience.<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI did a diploma in musical theatre when I was 16. So we used to dance. I wasn\u2019t in the top stream. There was A, B and C, and I started in C and ended up in B.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd when I left college, I was on a cruise ship for six months \u2013 as a dancer, I hasten to add, not just doing the bingo,\u201d he said.<\/p> As well as Bobby and Nigel, Adam will compete against former Corrie stars Les Dennis<\/a> and Ellie Leach<\/a>, who was actually happy to see Thomas had signed up.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was kind of nice to find out that Adam was doing it because it was like a friendly face, so it made me feel a little bit less nervous,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Ellie might want to get into dancing mode because Adam is coming for the Glitterball!<\/p> \n
