Now that Bethesda\u2019s massive space RPG has been with us for a little while, some of you are already wondering if there will be any Starfield<\/a> DLC or not. You can\u2019t have seen and done everything yet, though, surely?<\/p>\n Regardless of whether you\u2019ve completed everything in the base game or not, a DLC release is always an exciting moment for fans of a title and, given Bethesda\u2019s track record, any DLC in Starfield could prove to be top-tier stuff.<\/p>\n If you can\u2019t wait to play even more<\/i> of the game, we have some good news on the DLC front.<\/p>\n Keep on reading to find out if there is a Starfield DLC release date or not and to see what the developers have said about any extra content\/expansions.<\/p> Yes, there will be Starfield DLC<\/b>! Called Starfield Shattered Space<\/b>, the story DLC has been confirmed by the developers and is being created behind the scenes right now.<\/p>\n Aside from its name and that it is a story expansion, little else is known about the Shattered Space DLC in Starfield.<\/p>\n We could get new areas to explore, characters to interact with, and maybe even a couple of new gameplay additions (land vehicles, anyone?) in Shattered Space \u2013 if the likes of Skyrim<\/a> and Fallout<\/a> 4\u2019s story expansions are anything to go on.<\/p>\n Shattered Space sounds like it will be the first in a long list of DLC coming to Starfield, too.<\/p>\n Speaking to IGN<\/a>, Bethesda\u2019s development chief Todd Howard tells everyone that the studio is \u201cgoing to be doing a lot of add-on content for Starfield\u201d.<\/p>\n Howard adds: \u201cThe plan is to do things of varying sizes, and [Bethesda has] done a lot of that in [its] previous games.\u201d<\/p>\n Continuing, he explains: \u201cDespite the size of the game, there\u2019s still things [Bethesda] wants to add as far as features in the future of stories and things like that.
