We finally have our first look at the sitcom’s return. <\/p>

It\u2019s been nearly 20 years since Frasier<\/a> first came to an end, but now Kelsey Grammer\u2019s iconic radio host and psychotherapist is back in the first trailer for the Paramount+<\/a> revival.<\/p>\n

In the trailer, Frasier is seen trying to reconnect with his son Freddy, while we also meet Frasier\u2019s old college buddy Alan, played by none other than Only Fools and Horses<\/a> star Nicholas Lyndhurst.<\/p>\n

The new series is set to follow Frasier in the next chapter of his life as he returns to Boston with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge and an old dream or two to fulfil.<\/p>\n

You can watch the trailer right here:<\/p>\n\n<p>As well as Grammer and Lyndhurst, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/comedy\/frasier-cast\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">new series also stars<\/a> Jack Cutmore-Scott as Freddy, Toks Olagundoye as Alan\u2019s colleague Olivia, Jess Salgueiro as Freddy\u2019s roommate Eve and Anders Keith as Frasier\u2019s nephew David.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/comedy\/lee-mack-not-going-out-future-exclusive-newsupdate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lee Mack unsure of Not Going Out future: \u201cWe\u2019re having chats\u201d<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/comedy\/johnny-flynn-the-lovers-rom-coms-exclusive-newsupdate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Johnny Flynn: \u201cThe Lovers is a long way from classic British romcoms\u201d<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>One of the most major characters from the original series who won\u2019t be returning is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/comedy\/kelsey-grammer-frasier-reboot-niles-newsupdate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Niles, Frasier\u2019s brother<\/a>, played by\u00a0David Hyde Pierce.<\/p>\n<p>Grammer previously explained why Hyde Pierce didn\u2019t return, saying: \u201cDavid basically decided he wasn\u2019t really interested in repeating the performance of Niles.\u201d<\/p> <p>However, he added that the departure actually helped the show to differentiate itself from the original, explaining: \u201cIn a very funny way, it just took us to a new place, which was what we originally wanted to do, anyway, which was a Frasier third act.
