Johannes will make his Celebrity MasterChef debut tonight. <\/p>

Johannes Radebe is swapping the ballroom for the kitchen this summer, as he takes on the ultimate cooking challenge of Celebrity MasterChef<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Johannes \u2013 who is one of the Strictly Come Dancing professionals<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 will be showing off his culinary skills in a bid to impress judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace.<\/p>\n

But while the shows might be very different, the pro dancer says the judging isn\u2019t, as he compared Wallace and Torode to two of the Strictly Come Dancing judges<\/a> in particular \u2013 Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli, who will be replaced by Anton Du Beke on the upcoming 19th series.<\/p>\n

Bruno and Craig are known for their straight-to-the point, constructive feedback, and being in the MasterChef kitchen brought back memories for Johannes.<\/p>\n

Speaking exclusively to RadioTimes.com<\/a>,<\/strong> he said: \u201cThey\u2019re from the same WhatsApp group if you know what I mean. When something is good, something is good, and when something is average, something is average, and when something is, \u2018meh\u2019, it\u2019s \u2018meh!\u2019 They don\u2019t hold back at all.\u201d<\/p>\n

So, how did Johannes feel about the criticism?<\/p>\n

\u201cI love it because that\u2019s how we improve,\u201d he said, before admitting: \u201cI\u2019m OK with it on Strictly \u2013 I\u2019m not as nervous as I was on MasterChef. I mean, constructive criticism is very, very good. And you know, you can\u2019t say you\u2019re not going to take away from that because these are skilled individuals \u2013 they know exactly what they\u2019re talking about. And it\u2019s funny because everything they said, I came back home and practiced. I recreated the incredible dishes with those minor changes. They gave me those tools.\u201d<\/p>

Not all feedback was negative however, with Johannes adding: \u201cWhen John pays you a compliment, that for me was like a weight off my shoulders. It was just an affirmation to say, \u2018I can do this\u2019 and \u2018maybe I do have something to offer.\u2019 After all, I\u2019m not so bad.\u201d<\/p>\n

Johannes will compete against Kem Cetinay<\/a>, Kadeena Cox<\/a>, Michelle Collins<\/a> and Gavin Esler<\/a>, who are a part of the heat four. They\u2019ll be trying to secure a place in the semi-final, alongside Megan McKenna<\/a>, Su Pollard<\/a>, Bez<\/a> and more.<\/p>\n
