Hollywood legend Joan Collins and two-time world heavyweight champion boxer Anthony Joshua are two of the famous faces set to be interviewed by Louis Theroux<\/a> in the second season of his hit BBC Two series.<\/p>\n Louis Theroux Interviews season two will also feature actor and producer Ashley Walters, whistleblower and activist Chelsea Manning, musician and former The Libertines frontman Pete Doherty and singer-songwriter Raye across its six-episode run.<\/p>\n According to a BBC release, the season has been filmed across a number of locations including New York City, Normandy, Glastonbury and the French Riviera, and \u201cwill bring viewers closer than ever to some of the world\u2019s most well-known personalities\u201d.<\/p> The series will once again feature both one-on-one conversations and Theroux\u2019s \u201csignature immersive filming style\u201d as the subject\u2019s lives and careers are explored up to the present day.<\/p>\n The episodes are expected to air on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer later this year, but an exact release date has not yet been confirmed.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong>\u201cWorking with the team on these six new programmes has been an enormous pleasure,\u201d said Theroux. \u201cThe six guests are all distinctive and brilliant in different ways, all of them people who have endured setbacks and huge successes, and who have something to share with the world based on their journeys through life.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have tried to build on the success of the first six Louis Theroux Interviews, while pushing further this time into terrain that is gritty and difficult, exploring subjects like mental health, brushes with the law and political controversy.\u201d<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n Meanwhile, the BBC\u2019s head of documentary commissioning Clare Sillery said she was \u201cdelighted\u201d that Theroux was returning with an \u201cexciting and eclectic mix of new interviewees\u201d.<\/p>\n She added: \u201cLouis\u2019s genuine curiosity and warmth mean that each of these meetings will bring us something very new and different, and I can\u2019t wait to see him take us deeper into the worlds of these hugely engaging cultural figures.\u201d<\/p>\n The first series saw Theroux interview Stormzy, Dame Judi Dench, Yungblud, Bear Grylls, Katherine Ryan and Rita Ora, with an average audience of more than 2.1m tuning in across the first seven days.<\/p> \n
