“We\u2019re not really looking too far into the future.” <\/p>
Talking Heads have addressed a potential reunion, with bassist Tina Weymouth saying the band are \u201cjust savouring the moment\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n The band <\/span>\u2013 which consists of frontman David Byrne, drummer Chris Frantz, guitarist Jerry Harrison and Weymouth \u2013 reunited for the first time in over 20 years earlier in September for a screening of their iconic concert film Stop Making Sense at the Toronto Film Festival.<\/span><\/p>\n Talking about whether a full band reunion could be on the cards,\u00a0<\/span>Weymouth recently told Pitchfork:<\/a> <\/span>\u201cWe\u2019re just savouring the moment. We\u2019re so happy that it\u2019s resulted in this wonderful thing that\u2019s lasted 40 years. And we\u2019re not really looking too far into the future.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n She added: \u201cWe might be standing on the corner and a bus will knock us down. We\u2019re super glad we\u2019re alive. We\u2019re all four here to enjoy this moment.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Harrison added: \u201cThere\u2019s no question, though, that it revives the joy we had together. I think for each one of us, watching the film, we feel the joy\u2014not just the four of us, but everybody that was onstage, and the crew. It\u2019s certainly tugging on the heartstrings of how much I loved everybody.\u201d<\/span><\/p>
