It\u2019s almost that time of year where drama fans will hunker down for primetime cosy viewing, and there\u2019s no better way to mark the occasion than with the return of All Creatures Great and Small<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Well now, RadioTimes.com<\/a> has an exclusive first look at what\u2019s to come in season 4, as a new trailer has just been released.<\/p>\n

In the new trailer, we can see how the arrival of trainee veterinary student Richard Carmody (James Anthony-Rose) causes complications for the cast as he doesn\u2019t take especially well to countryside living, slipping and falling on what appears to be his first day on the job.<\/p>

James Herriot (Nicholas Ralph) quickly tries to give the keen student some words of advice, saying: \u201cThe animals are the easy part of course, it\u2019s the people who cause all the bother.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shots of adorable animals, sprawling fields and the cast are then shown, before we see Helen Alderson (Rachel Shenton) display some signs of broodiness, much to her husband James\u2019s surprise.<\/p>\n

Despite previously agreeing that they\u2019d wait to have children, Helen confesses: \u201cIf this war has taught us anything, it\u2019s to grab on to the things you love and try and cherish every moment.\u201d<\/p>\n
