It was another spectacular show! <\/p>
It was a big night on Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> as this year\u2019s line-up<\/a> returned to the dance floor for their second live performance.<\/p>\n With the public vote opening after all performances, the ante was upped, and the celebs definitely brought their A-game.<\/p>\n For all the highlights and key moments from Strictly Come Dancing 2023 week 2, check out our catch-up video above.<\/p>\n The night was opened by Strictly fave Bobby Brazier<\/a>, who wowed the judges with his and Dianne Buswell\u2019s Charleston to Do Your Thing by Basement Jaxx.<\/p>\n Annabel Croft<\/a> and her dance partner Johannes Radebe followed behind with a Quickstep to Walking on Sunshine by Katrina And The Waves, but one judges wasn\u2019t very impressed with fans calling out the judge for giving Annabel an \u201cundeserved\u201d low score<\/a>.<\/p>\n Former top spot holder on the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard<\/a>, actor Nigel Harman<\/a>, continued to reign supreme as he scored an impressive 27 points for his and Katya Jones\u2019 Viennese Waltz to Until I Found You by Stephen Sanchez. Unfortunately it was 2 points short of his week 1 performance, however, Craig Revel Horwood wasn\u2019t very happy with head judge Shirley Ballas, as he called her \u201cpicky\u201d for criticising Nigel\u2019s performance<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re being very very picky down there\u201d he said, before repeating the word\u201dpicky\u201d several more times.<\/p>\n He added: \u201cBesides all those technical issues which I\u00a0know<\/em> you will be able to fix next week quite easily, because you have the ability my darling, you are a fantastic dancer.\u201d<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n Meanwhile, Angela Rippon had the \u201cbest frame\u201d of the night<\/a>, and Layton Williams closed the show<\/a> in the most spectacular fashion and soared to the top of the leaderboard with four nines \u2013 a score that had only been achieved twice before.<\/p>\n Following all performances, the public vote was opened with viewers getting a chance to vote to save their favourite contestants.<\/p>\n The two celebs with the fewest votes will find themselves in the dance off, after which the judges will have to decide who they want to send home.<\/p> \n
