Shirley had pointed out some “technical errors” in the former EastEnders star’s Viennese Waltz. <\/p>
Over the years, Craig Revel Horwood has earned a reputation as being the most critical\u00a0Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> judge \u2013 but tonight he took issue with some harsh comments made by another member of the panel.<\/p>\n After Nigel Harman<\/a> and his professional partner Katya Jones \u2013 who topped the Strictly leaderboard<\/a> last week \u2013 had danced a Viennese Waltz to Until I Found You by Stephen Sanchez, head judge Shirley Ballas pointed out a few \u201ctechnical errors\u201d in the performance.<\/p>\n \u201c[We\u2019re in] week two now and I believe that as a great dancer, you could concentrate a little bit more on some really simple footwork,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m not asking you to be the world champion in footwork, I\u2019m just asking you to address a few little things.\u201d<\/p> But speaking after Shirley and Anton DuBeke had both said their piece, Craig retorted: \u201cYou\u2019re being very very picky down there\u201d\u00a0 before repeating the word\u201dpicky\u201d several more times.<\/p>\n He added: \u201cBesides all those technical issues which I know<\/em> you will be able to fix next week quite easily, because you have the ability my darling, you are a fantastic dancer.<\/p>\n \u201cYou have the ability to draw people into the dance and I know people that are watching that at home are going to vote for that.\u201d<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n And Motsi Mabuse agreed with Craig\u2019s assessment, which prompted her to joke: \u201cWhat happened over there?\u201d<\/p>\n In the end, Nigel and Katya ended up with a total score of 27 \u2013 seven points each from Craig, Motsi and Anton and six from Shirley.<\/p>\n That\u2019s five points less than the former EastEnders star managed for his paso doble last week, but still enough to find him in the top half of tonight\u2019s leaderboard.<\/p> \n
