The first three episodes of the teen spin-off of The Boys are out now. <\/p>

The universe of The Boys has expanded with the arrival of spin-off Gen V<\/a>, which has released its first three episodes on Prime Video.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Set between the third and upcoming fourth series of the original, the teen spin-off<\/a> revolves around a group of super-powered students at Vought-owned superhero college Godolkin University, where they\u2019re put to the test and given the opportunity to make it all the way to The Seven.<\/span><\/p>\n

The series stars new cast members Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Shelley Conn and Asa Germann, but also reunites fans with some old friends (and foes) from The Boys<\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Talking about how the new spin-off differs from the original<\/a>, Germann recently explained: \u201cIn The Boys, we\u2019re seeing a bunch of superheroes where they wound up. We see Homelander as the leader of the Seven. And we see the Seven, we follow people like The Deep and A-Train and Starlight as they kind of navigate their journey through this industry, this business, the world that they\u2019ve created.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut in this show, we aren\u2019t only following the Supes in terms of their journey about becoming Supes. We\u2019re following their journey in terms of how they\u2019re becoming people, and how they\u2019re growing up and evolving and learning and creating relationships and destroying relationships, and really at a core, like figuring out what it means to be a hero.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the first three episodes of Gen V premiered together on Friday 29th September, fans will have to wait a little longer for the next instalment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Viewers in the UK can expect episode 4 to land on Prime Video on Friday<\/strong> 6th October at 1am.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are eight episodes of Gen V in total.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

However, the whole series hasn\u2019t been dropped on Prime Video in one go for fans to binge.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
