Angela Scanlon wowed the judging panel as she took on the Charleston for Movie Week. <\/p>
Last week, Angela Scanlon<\/a> impressed Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> fans with her <\/span>jive to Shampoo\u2019s 90s hit Trouble \u2013 but tonight (7th October) the Irish presenter really dazzled the judging panel with her routine.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The TV presenter danced the Charleston to a song from musical Damn Yankees <\/span>alongside her professional partner <\/span>Carlos Gu <\/span>\u2013 and received some brilliant comments on her way to a score of 35.<\/span><\/p>\n Anton Du Beke called the Movie Week<\/a> performance \u201cbrilliant\u201d and \u201cmagical\u201d, telling them: \u201cI have to tell you this. That is the best number I\u2019ve seen on the whole series yet.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n He continued: \u201cIt\u2019s everything I love as a dancer. If I want to watch a dance it\u2019s exactly how I want it to be performed. It\u2019s clean as a whistle, you\u2019ve got springs in your shoes, and you\u2019re all sort of bouncy and I love that.\u00a0<\/span><\/p> Meanwhile, Shirley Ballas called the performance \u201cphenomenal\u201d, telling the pair: \u201cI<\/span> love the trust that you have with each other.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Motsi Mabuse was also effusive, calling the routine \u201cperfect\u201d and adding: \u201c<\/span>Guys fantastic. Really really good work\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n Read more:<\/b><\/p>\n Craig Revel Horwood also thought the performance was \u201cabsolutely brilliant\u201d, but had some criticism for Angela, telling her: \u201cI would have liked to have seen a little bit more back extension.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Angela\u2019s score of 35 marks her best score to date and takes her and Carlos to the top of the <\/span>leaderboard<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p> \n
