Despite glaring suggestions and hints, people are still debating the identity behind the symbiote suit in Insomniac\u2019s upcoming Spider-Man 2<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So, to dispel any rumours, we\u2019ll be answering the question \u201cWho is Venom in Spider-Man 2?\u201d with Marvel game\u2019s big change explained.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll also be taking a look at whether Harry Osborn has ever been Venom in the comics and in any other media in the past.<\/p>\n

If you have only recently played Spider-Man on PC<\/a>, or are yet to, you might want to avert your eyes to avoid any spoilers \u2013 as Spider-Man 2 won\u2019t see a PC release for at least a couple of years, as Sony holds the rights to Spider-Man and will want to make use of it before cutting it loose for other platforms.<\/p>\n

But enough said, read on and we will sling some Spidey sleuthing your way to untangle the web of this not-so-mysterious mystery.<\/p>\n

Who is Venom in Spider-Man 2?<\/b><\/h2>\n
Harry Osborn is most likely Venom in Insomniac\u2019s Spider-Man 2<\/strong> as the symbiote was shown attaching itself to Osborn at the end of Spider-Man.<\/p>\n
Adding further credence to the theory is the fact that the story trailer, released during Comic Con 2023, opens with Harry saying, \u201cI\u2019m going to heal the world,\u201d and finishes with Venom quipping, \u201cWe\u2019re going to heal the world.\u201d<\/p>\n\nHarry is featured quite extensively throughout the trailer, too, with his dad, Norman Osborn, saying, \u201cI\u2019m not going to lose you,\u201d making for some serious foreshadowing of Harry\u2019s fate.<\/p>\nHarry was terminally ill during the first game, and at this time, it\u2019s unclear how the symbiote will coexist with the illness \u2013 or if it simply replaced the illness with itself.<\/p> <h2>Has Harry Osborn ever been Venom in the comics?<\/b><\/h2>\nNo, Harry Osborn has never been Venom in the comics<\/strong>.
