Assassin\u2019s Creed is one of the biggest gaming IPs on the planet. It\u2019s come a long way since its first instalment back in 2007, with settings ranging from the crusades to swashbuckling pirates to an epic Viking saga.<\/p>\n

The latest, Assassin\u2019s Creed Mirage<\/a>, returns to the Middle East \u2013 as we take control of Basim Ibn Ishaq (a minor character in Valhalla<\/a>).<\/p>\n

As it\u2019s such a huge franchise<\/a>, you might be wondering if it\u2019s releasing on Steam. Most big titles do, right? Plus, scaling the roofs and walls of ninth-century Baghdad on a Steam Deck would lead to a pretty decent commute.<\/p>\n

Yet, just because a game is dropping on PC, that doesn\u2019t mean it will also release through Steam. There is<\/em> another big store for downloading PC games, after all.<\/p>

AC Mirage on PC: Is it ever coming to Steam?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Unfortunately, Assassin\u2019s Creed Mirage is not available on Steam at the moment.<\/p>\n

This is because of Ubisoft\u2019s partnership with Epic Games. As a component of this partnership, all AC games have been exclusive to the Epic Games Store.<\/p>\n

So, to play Assassin\u2019s Creed Mirage on the PC, you\u2019ll need either a Ubisoft Connect account or an Epic Games Store account.<\/p>\n

But will Mirage\u00a0ever\u00a0<\/em>drop on Steam? While it\u2019s impossible to say for sure, we reckon the exclusivity to Epic Games won\u2019t last forever<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Every other Assassin\u2019s Creed has been released on Steam eventually<\/strong>. Valhalla was an Epic Games exclusive, too, on its release, but dropped on Steam less than a month after. So hopefully the same will occur with Mirage!<\/p>\n

AC Mirage PC Requirements<\/strong><\/h2>\n

If you\u2019re a shopper at the Epic Games Store, but you\u2019re unsure if you have the specs for Assassin\u2019s Creed Mirage, let\u2019s take a look at both the minimum and recommended requirements.<\/p>\n

These specs are necessary to simply play the game (at 30 frames per second):<\/p>\n
