From Scoring to Goalkeeper, here’s how to make the most from all 34 PlayStyles. <\/p>

EA FC 24\u2019s Playstyles feature was one of the more significant gameplay changes made to this year\u2019s game, which is still slightly under the radar.<\/p>\n

Just like FIFA 23\u2019s lengthy players<\/a>, these player attributes can be more important than some of the base stats if used effectively.<\/p>\n

With over 30 PlayStyles available across six categories, which should you be prioritising in the current FC 24 meta?<\/p>\n

Here are our top choices for every position.<\/p>\n

EA FC 24 PlayStyles explained<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The newly introduced PlayStyles are categorised as one of the following: Passing, Shooting, Defending, Ball Control, Physical and Goalkeeping.<\/p>\n

There are 34 PlayStyles in total, with regular PlayStyles being the signature abilities that make players more unique and help them stand out on the pitch.<\/p>\n

But which should you pick?<\/p>

Best PlayStyles for each position in EA FC 24<\/strong><\/h2>\n

To find out what PlayStyle is best, it\u2019s well worth experimenting with each to find which one suits your own approach to the game. That said, here are our recommendations for the best PlayStyles in each position for EA FC 24.<\/span><\/p>\n

Strikers<\/strong><\/p>\n

The top PlayStyle we\u2019ve been using on our attackers in FC 24 is the Finesse Shot<\/strong>. If you think back a few years to previous FIFA games when finesse shots were pretty overpowered, this PlayStyle replicates that.<\/p>\n

As with all these PlayStyles, they get even better with PlayStyles+. Alex Morgan has been our striker of choice with this one, but if you\u2019re building a Premier League team, Mo Salah is another option down the wing.<\/p>\n

Wingers<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pacey wingers are once again the meta in FC 24, and the Quick Step PlayStyle<\/strong> has been our choice to make use of the fast players out wide.<\/p>\n

Giving faster acceleration during Explosive Sprint, Quick Step may give you the slight edge to run past defenders and cut back to a player in the box.<\/p>\n

Sticking in the NWSL, Trinity Rodman has worked wonders for us with the Quick Step PlayStyle+, but Moussa Diaby is also a good choice for Premier League teams.<\/p>\n

Outside of Quick Step, we\u2019d also look for Rapid<\/strong> and Technical PlayStyles<\/strong> on our wingers.<\/p>\n

Attacking Midfielders (CAM)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The best PlayStyle for CAMs is the Incisive Pass PlayStyle<\/strong>, which gives the player more accurate, faster through balls.<\/p>\n

Another bonus PlayStyle we\u2019d suggest for your CAM (or any player) is Dead Ball<\/strong>, which improves their set piece ability.<\/p>\n

James Maddison and Paulo Dybala would be our suggestions here.<\/p>\n

Defensive Midfielders<\/strong><\/p>\n

As one of the most important players on the team, getting a CM or a CDM who can defend well, and then quickly transition play in attack, is absolutely crucial in FC 24.<\/p>\n

We\u2019d recommend running players with several PlayStyles, notably the Jockey<\/strong> and Pinged Pass<\/strong> PlayStyles.<\/p>\n

Jockey improves the speed of your jockeying while defending, helping you out in those crucial 1v1s, while Pinged Pass makes your ground passes faster, speeding up your transition into attack.<\/p>\n

Georgia Stanway is our choice for this, having both Jockey and Pinged Pass+.<\/p>\n

Full-backs<\/strong><\/p>\n

Any full-backs with the same PlayStyles as the wingers are great picks, but our best PlayStyle for a full-back is the Whipped Pass<\/strong>\u00a0PlayStyle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This makes your crosses much faster, and more accurate. So if you\u2019re using a formation with overlapping full-backs, can make you much more of an aerial threat.<\/p>\n

There are plenty of choice here, but Kieran Trippier, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Alejandro Grimaldo would be our picks.<\/p>\n

Centre-backs<\/strong><\/p>\n

Like your defensive midfielders, the Jockey PlayStyle<\/strong> is a great choice for your CBs. We\u2019d also suggest choosing players with\u00a0Block<\/strong> and\u00a0Anticipate<\/strong>, too.<\/p>\n

Virgil Van Dijk has all three of these PlayStyles, but there are cheaper defenders who have two of these, such as Pierre Kalulu or William Saliba.<\/p>\n

Goalkeeper<\/b><\/p>\n

The Goalkeeper PlayStyles only come into effect when playing on the Be A Goalkeeper (BAG) mode, so don\u2019t matter as much in normal gameplay.<\/p>\n

However, if you are playing as a keeper, we\u2019d suggest using Quick Reflexes<\/strong> and Footwork<\/strong>, as these will help in those 1v1 situations after a player breaks through.<\/p>\n
