Following Holly Willoughby\u2019s announcement yesterday<\/a> (Tuesday 10th October) that she has now left her role hosting This Morning, her colleagues on the show have been sharing their reaction to the news.<\/p>\n Commenting on Willoughby\u2019s Instagram<\/a> post announcing her departure, in which she said she was making her \u201cdifficult goodbye\u201d for the sake of herself and her family, Alison Hammond commented: \u201cThis is a very sad day ! Love you.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Dermot O\u2019Leary added: \u201cNothing but love and respect for you and yours. X\u201d<\/p>\n Willoughby\u2019s departure came after she has been absent from the show this week, following the news that a man has been charged with soliciting to commit murder over an alleged plot to kidnap her.<\/p>\n Speaking on Good Morning Britain, former This Morning presenter Richard Madeley said that Willoughby had done a \u201cvery brave and wise and courageous thing\u201d in deciding to \u201cput her family first\u201d.<\/p>\n ‘I think that Holly’s done a very brave, wise and courageous thing.’
