The Eighth Doctor, who debuted in a TV film, has only ever appeared in one regular episode of the main series. <\/p>

Paul McGann\u2019s Eighth Doctor has featured in plenty of Doctor Who<\/a> stories over the year, whether they be the TV film, 2013\u2019s short webisode The Night of the Doctor or the many audio adventures released by Big Finish.<\/p>\n

However, he has had a shockingly small amount of time featuring on the main show \u2013 something the star appears keen to rectify.<\/p>\n

In a recent interview with The Guardian<\/a>, McGann was asked how he feels about the fact that his incarnation of the Doctor has had such a life outside of the TV series, to which he said: \u201cI love it. How could you not?<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fans call me the longest and the shortest. I\u2019ll have it. Less than two hours of screen time in 27 years, but somehow still kind of everywhere all at once. It could only happen in Who world.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was recently in one of the Jodie Whittaker episodes (The Power of the Doctor<\/a>). That\u2019s the only time that the Eighth Doctor got on to the telly. So it gave me a little taste for it. I wouldn\u2019t mind doing some more.\u201d<\/p>\n
