Fans will say goodbye to not one but two bakers during Pastry Week. <\/p>

Two contestants will be sent home from The Great British Bake Off<\/a> next week.<\/p>\n

At the end of this week\u2019s episode, new judge Alison Hammond revealed: \u201cYou\u2019re all staying. However, next week, two bakers will leave the tent.\u201d<\/p>\n

It comes after Tasha missed the <\/a>Technical and Showstopper bakes<\/a> during the episode due to feeling unwell. As a result, no one was sent home, but the pressure is now on for Pastry Week, which airs on Tuesday 24th October.<\/p>\n

Bake Off didn\u2019t air on Tuesday<\/a> this time out, and instead took place one day later due to the England vs Italy<\/a> UEFA Euro 2024 qualifier.<\/p>\n

The remaining contestants in the Great British Bake Off 2023 line-up<\/a> tackled all things chocolate for the Bake Off theme, and it was a very sweet week for one of the contestants in particular, as Matty won his first Star Baker accolade for season 14.<\/p>\n
While judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith worried about Cristy, Rowan and Saku, who failed to impress with their chocolate cake boxes, it was decided that no one would be going home \u2013 as it wouldn\u2019t be fair with Tasha not completing this week.<\/p>
Asked who was at risk during the deliberation, Prue said: \u201cDefinitely Cristy. Definitely Saku.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI think coming into today, they weren\u2019t doing particularly well,\u201d Paul explained. \u201cAnd, actually, both of them are much of a much. Saku\u2019s was quite dry but the flavour was good, and Cristy\u2019s [was] quite dry but the flavour was good \u2013 so they\u2019re almost identical.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cBut the fact that Tasha\u2019s not here\u2026\u201d Alison chimed in.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have to decide whether someone should go or we leave it for another week, and that\u2019s what Prue and I had to go through and sit through again and have a chat and see where we are,\u201d Paul continued.<\/p>
