Fans of Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> were delighted to spot a familiar face in the audience towards the end of tonight\u2019s show: children\u2019s television legend Paul Chuckle.<\/p>\n The comedian \u2013 whose real name is Paul Elliott \u2013 was one half of double act the Chuckle Brothers along with his late brother Barry, famous for their beloved kids show ChuckleVision and their catchphrase \u201cTo me, to you.\u201d<\/p>\n Shortly after Angela Rippon<\/a> closed tonight\u2019s show with her Argentina Tango to Tangier by Sexteto Mayor, the camera cut to Elliott \u2013 who looked like he had thoroughly enjoyed the routine.<\/p> The brief appearance went down a storm with viewers at home, with one fan writing on X (formerly Twitter) \u201cGood lord, a <\/span>Chuckle<\/span> Brother\u201d and another musing: \u201cPaul<\/span> Chuckle<\/span> in the audience. I wonder if he arrived on the Chuckmobile?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n A third fan wrote: \u201cPaul<\/span> Chuckle<\/span>! Audience full of icons\u201d while another viewer questioned why he hadn\u2019t been booked to compete in the competition, writing: \u201c<\/span>Why is <\/span>Paul<\/span> Chuckle<\/span> in the audience and not a contestant?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Elliott wasn\u2019t the only famous face enjoying the show live in the studio tonight, with Doctor Who<\/a> star David Bradley also seen in the audience.<\/a><\/p>\n Bradley was there to support his friend Nigel Harman<\/a>, who explained to Claudia Winkleman that the actor was \u201ca wonderful part of my life\u201d after he had performed a Foxtrot to I Just Want To Make Love To You by Etta James \u2013 which went on to score 29 points.<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n At the end of tonight\u2019s episode, Layton Williams<\/a> and his professional partner Nikita Kuzmin topped the Strictly leaderboard<\/a> for the second consecutive week after scoring 39 points for their Salsa to Quimbara by Johnny Pacheco and Celia Cruz, with Ellie Leach<\/a> and Vito Coppola just two points behind on 37.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, at the other end of the standings, Eddie Kadi<\/a> is in danger of a second appearance in the dance-off after he scored just 24 points, with Annabel Croft<\/a> also in danger after receiving a mark of 27 from the judges.<\/p>\n There was one less routine in tonight\u2019s show than originally planned after Amanda Abbington<\/a> was forced to pull out of the episode with a medical issue<\/a>.<\/p> \n
