Layton and Nikita once again stole the show. <\/p>
Another week, another standout performance on Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> from Layton Williams<\/a>.<\/p>\n The West End star danced salsa with Nikita to Quimbara by Johnny Pacheco and Celia Cruz<\/a> and wowed the judges once again after topping the leaderboard<\/a> the previous week.<\/p>\n The pair performed in almost perfect unison as they haunted around in their bright shirts as Layton sported an afro, while Nikita worked up a sweat.<\/p>\n The pair came off the dancefloor to receive glowing comments from the Strictly judges<\/a> \u2013 particularly Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas who praised the pairing\u2019s chemistry, with Motsi revealing she would use this performance as a wake-up alarm.<\/p> Even Craig Revel-Horwood came in for his much sought-after \u201ca-maz-ing\u201d and he went on to award the duo a score of 9 points, while Motsi, Shirley, and Anton Du Beke awarded the pair three 10s.<\/p>\n The scores sent the pair rocketing to the top of the leaderboard following on from a much-loved performance from former Coronation Street star Ellie Leach.<\/p>\n Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, fans of Strictly were full of glowing praise for Layton and Nikita.<\/p>\n One Strictly fan penned: \u201cThe first time I\u2019ve ever given a couple 2 10s in a row across 2 consecutive weeks. <\/span>Layton<\/span> really is unstoppable right now!!!!
