Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream is a brand new talent show that\u2019ll see a group of musical theatre performers prove they\u2019ve got what it takes to become the next Sophie and Sky in the West End production of Mamma Mia!.<\/p>\n

Judged by Samantha Barks, Amber Riley, Alan Carr and Jessie Ware<\/a>, 14 contestants will take part in masterclasses, challenges and workshops from singing and dancing to on-stage chemistry.<\/p>\n

The competition all leads up to the grand finale which is set to take place live in a West End theatre.<\/p>\n

In order to make the process feel as authentic as possible, the 14 contestants all battled it out on a gorgeous Greek island. But where is it?<\/p>\n

Where is Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream filmed?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The cast of Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream were flown out to the Greek island of Corfu earlier this year.<\/p>\n

According to WhatsOnStage<\/a>, filming took place at Villa Donna, which sat up \u201chigh in the green mountaintops at the north of the island\u201d.<\/p>\n

Zoe Ball, who hosts the show, said filming Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream in Greece was \u201cperfect\u201d.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the show airing on ITV, Ball said: \u201cFor our Sophies and Skys, they\u2019re already in the beating heart of the place where this story is set. The girls can get themselves in the head space of Sophie, who\u2019s been brought up on an island in Greece. She\u2019s not been brought up in a usual manner. She\u2019s a real hippie kid. She\u2019s quite free- spirited. She\u2019s just been brought up by her mum.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd there\u2019s Sky. When I think of Sky, I always think of all the boys I\u2019ve fallen in love with on holiday who might have been some kind of ski instructor, water sports instructors, who are just hot and dynamic.\u201d<\/p>\n

The host explained that the first few days of filming there was \u201ctorrential rain and some of the sets were blowing away\u201d, but eventually the sun came out.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI think there was one show where I was wearing long flares and the water from the set was up to my knees by the end of the show. I had tide marks on my trousers,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream airs on Sunday 22nd October at 6pm on ITV1.<\/strong><\/p>\n
