A week is a long time in cricket. Seven days ago and the Aussies had lost both their opening matches in the World Cup and were a team in disarray. But two wins later and the prospect of a third against the Dutch and they are straight back in semi-final contention.<\/p>\n

The Netherlands have spoken a good game throughout the competition, stating ahead of time that they were here to win it despite their minnow status. They have won a lot of friends and admirers along the way, with a series of spirited performances and a superb win over South Africa. But defeat here would all but rule them out of semi-final contention and take away a certain amount of intensity from their remaining matches.<\/p>\n
