Too early to speculate? <\/p>
Almost a week since its release, Insomniac Games\u2019s Spider-Man 2<\/a> is still stealing our hearts (and hours<\/a>).<\/p>\n Although many of us have finished the story, we\u2019re still rinsing what we can out of the beautifully realised playground of New York.<\/p>\n But while we wait for the DLC<\/a>, there\u2019s a slightly bigger question on our minds: will there be a Spider-Man 3, Miles Morales 2 or Venom spin-off game?<\/p>\n Listen to our podcast, One More Life, for more gaming intel!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n The story certainly leaves things open-ended, so much so that it\u2019s hard to know where we\u2019ll go next.<\/p>\n There are so many characters \u2013 from heroes to antiheroes \u2013 that deserve a whole game to themselves. The possibilities are so endless it makes us dizzy.<\/p>\n Let\u2019s take a deep breath and look at what we might expect from potential spin-offs to Spider-Man 2.<\/p>\n (Be aware that we\u2019ll be discussing the plot of Spider-Man 2 below, so spoilers ahead<\/strong>)<\/p>\n We\u2019re still in the first week of Spider-Man 2, but that hasn\u2019t stopped the developers at Insomniac teasing us with possibilities of future projects.<\/p>\n In episode 32 of the Friends Per Second podcast, on the Skill Up YouTube channel, creative director Bryan Intihar drew comparisons with the Marvel Cinematic Universe<\/a>.<\/p>\n He said: \u201c[If Spider-Man was] our Iron Man, and Spider-Man 2 was like Civil War\u2026 where logically do we go from there?
