Viewers watched two contestants leave The Great British Bake Off<\/a> this week, as Pastry Week got under way.<\/p>\n

From puff pastries to savoury pies, the pressure was certainly on in the tent, and eventually Rowan<\/a> and Nicky<\/a> were sent packing.<\/p>\n

For Cristy<\/a>, however, it was as easy as pie as she received her first Star Baker<\/a> accolade for season 14, which came as a big surprise following a few wobbles during Chocolate Week.<\/p>\n

Here, RadioTimes.com<\/a> columnist and season 2021 semi-finalist J\u00fcrgen Krauss talks all things Pastry Week, particularly the \u201cunpredictable\u201d Great British 2023 line-up<\/a>, the double elimination and his top tip for achieving the perfect pastry.<\/p>\n

As well as this, he shared his thoughts on next week\u2019s new Bake Off theme<\/a>, Botanical Week.<\/p>\n
