Mamma Mia! is looking for a new Sophie and Sky to take centre stage on the West End production of the show, and ITV\u2019s Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream<\/a> is attempting to find the lucky two to do just that.<\/p>\n

The talent show features 14 musical theatre performers<\/a>, who will be performing an array of different songs<\/a> to prove they have what it takes to play the West End\u2019s leading lady and man.<\/p>\n

They will be judged on their singing, dancing, acting and chemistry skills by a panel of entertainers<\/a>, as well as trained by Mamma Mia\u2019s very own choreographer.<\/p>\n

Each week, the group of West End hopefuls will be whittled down before it is revealed who will be the next Sophie and Sky during a live grand finale.<\/p>\n

As no one went home last week, the performers secured themselves into another week of the competition, however there are now 13 musical theatre performers left in the competition, meaning that for one West End hopeful it was time to say \u2018thank you for the music\u2019.<\/p>\n

Maddy was, sadly, the first Sophie to leave the competition.<\/p>\n

During Sunday night\u2019s show, viewers saw Maddy take part in a workshop where she forgot a couple of her lines, which judges Alan Carr and Jessie Ware didn\u2019t seem impressed with.<\/p>\n

She then performed I Say A Little Prayer by Aretha Franklin and the judges were all smiles, praising her comeback after she struggled during the workshop.<\/p>\n

Judge Samantha Barks did offer slight criticism, saying she wished there was \u201cmore acting\u201d in Maddy\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n

After the judges deliberated, they decided it was the end of the road for Maddy.<\/p>

\u201cIt\u2019s not just about signing, we\u2019re factoring in acting with you yesterday in the workshop. Some of you excelled and did really well, and then some of you struggled,\u201d judge Amber Riley told the Sophies before Samantha Barks delivered the verdict.<\/p>\n

Talking about her exit, Maddy said: \u201cIt\u2019s been so amazing and I\u2019ve done myself proud, but I just don\u2019t feel ready to leave yet. I feel like there is so much I can show and I\u2019ve got so much more in me.<\/p>\n
