Hallie may have been the third housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother<\/a> house, but she feels she has achieved everything she set out to do on the reality series.<\/p>\n

The 18-year-old exclusively told RadioTimes.com<\/a> she wanted to go on Big Brother to \u201cinspire and make the trans community proud\u201d, something she believes she has done whilst appearing on the show.<\/p>\n

Hallie opened up to her housemates about being transgender<\/a> during their second day in the Big Brother house<\/a>.<\/p>\n

She told her fellow housemates that she felt she wasn\u2019t being \u201c100 per cent authentic\u201d before telling them she was transgender.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought I\u2019d let everyone know I\u2019m trans, if you didn\u2019t know already. I just thought I\u2019d make that loud and clear. I\u2019m a trans woman, if you didn\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>

Speaking exclusively to RadioTimes.com<\/strong>, Hallie said \u201ctrans visibility\u201d on television is \u201cvery important\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a stigma around trans people in the media and as soon as someone says they are trans, their mind goes elsewhere and there\u2019s almost this prejudice opinion,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI just wanted to show people that we\u2019re all from the same pile of mess called life and we all come from the same struggles and we\u2019re just the same.<\/p>\n
