Insomniac Games has been hard at work on making Marvel\u2019s Spider-Man 2 the best game it can be on PS5, and the latest Spider-Man 2 update \u2013 version 1.001.004 \u2013 is now live and brings with it a handful of bug fixes.<\/p>\n
While our five-star review<\/a> tells you the game is \u201cthe best reason to buy a PS5\u201d, the title didn\u2019t come away unscathed \u2013 with pesky little bugs and one particularly embarrassing mistake<\/a> rearing their heads.<\/p>\n Listen to our One More Life podcast \u2013 the new episode is about Spider-Man 2!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n The development team has been listening, though, and the latest patch is another step in the right direction for the super sequel.<\/p>\n You\u2019ll find the full list of Spider-Man 2 update patch notes below \u2013 here\u2019s what has changed in version 1.001.004.<\/p>\n While it\u2019s not the biggest update you\u2019ll ever see, Spider-Man 2 version 1.001.004 brings with it a selection of bug fixes that should improve the game in a number of ways.<\/p>\n One such fix should stop you from getting stuck during the finale of Marko\u2019s Memories. There are four fixes in total for instances where Spider-Man or another character could previously get stuck in a certain situation.<\/p>\n Another fix detailed by the developers<\/a> might have resolved the Spider-Cube issue.<\/p>\n Insomniac has \u201cfurther addressed issues where models would not load properly after long play sessions\u201d. Could it really be the end of swinging around New York as a white cube?
