Fans of Fortnite<\/a> have known for a little while that the original Fortnite map<\/a> is coming back to the game on Friday 3rd November. But now that this fateful day has arrived, it\u2019s come with an unexpected twist!<\/p>\n

As it turns out, Epic Games isn\u2019t just going back to one<\/em> specific moment from Fortnite\u2019s past. In fact, once a week for the rest of the month, the game will lurch forward with a whole new identity that harkens back to a previous period of the game\u2019s popularity.<\/p>\n

Epic is calling this event \u2018Fortnite Chapter 4 Season OG\u2019, and, as it goes along, of course you can expect a whole battle pass<\/a> filled with blasts from the past. But what are the key dates you need to know about? When will the next wave of change occur? Find out below!<\/p>\n

Fortnite Season OG schedule: When to expect next map changes<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Here\u2019s the schedule that will define your life for the next month as Fortnite Season OG rolls back the years:<\/p>\n

  • Out now \u2014<\/strong> The original Season 5 is playable in Fortnite again<\/li>\n
  • Thursday 9th November \u2014<\/strong> Season 6 arrives in-game<\/li>\n
  • Thursday 16th November \u2014 <\/strong>Seasons 7 and 8<\/li>\n
  • Thursday 23rd November \u2014<\/strong>\u00a0Season 9 and X<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Below you\u2019ll find exactly what Epic has teased about all of these upcoming updates.<\/p>

    Out now! The original Season 5<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    It all began on Friday 3rd November with update v27.00, which turned back time and brought the original season 5 map back into the game.<\/p>\n

    Epic said: \u201cDrop back onto Tilted Towers and take up weapons, Traps, and vehicles that were present in the original Season 5!<\/p>\n

    \u201cThrill rides are back with the unvaulted Shopping Cart and All Terrain Kart, and the Damage Trap, Grappler, and Boogie Bomb make an explosive return among other weapons.\u201d<\/p>\n

    9th November: v27.00 Hotfix revisits Season 6<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    The next Fortnite update will land on Thursday 9th November, officially designated the v27.00 Hotfix, and it will shift the game along into the OG Season 6.<\/p>\n

    Epic has teased: \u201cDarkness Rises again in Loot Lake! Frights and delights from Season 6 are back, including the Quadcrasher, Mounted Turret, Six Shooter, Chiller Trap, and more.\u201d<\/p>
