The scenes \u2013 which have now wrapped filming at a location in Leeds \u2013 will see the Olympic gold medal winners arriving<\/span>\u00a0to assist a beloved Emmerdale<\/a> character with a big Christmas proposal.<\/span><\/p>\n Speaking about filming the scenes for the ITV show, Christopher Dean said: \u201cIt is amazing being here. We have jumped from watching Emmerdale on TV to being in a scene. From the screen to the scene. I\u2019m loving it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Jayne Torvill added: \u201cI can\u2019t wait to watch the episode that we are going to be in. It will be surreal sitting at home watching it.\u201d<\/span><\/p> Emmerdale Producer Laura Shaw added: \u201cWe are delighted to welcome Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean as our very special guests to Emmerdale. Torvill and Dean certainly promise to bring the Christmas magic sparkle to the show.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n However, while it looks like there\u2019ll be some much-needed festive joy for at least two Emmerdale characters this Christmas, producer Laura Shaw previously teased it won\u2019t be a happy Yuletide for all involved<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe last couple of years we\u2019ve done a bit more of a fluffier kind of Christmas for Emmerdale, but this one is quite different and edgier for us,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI can tell you that definitely not every one of our villagers will be sat down eating their turkey with all the trimmings on Christmas Day.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Eek!<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n Emmerdale airs on weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
